Theme of The Game
An Elk Studios production, Wild Seas is a game that’s dedicated to the life of pirates, and to that of the ships that they are pursuing. Looking at the reels, you will see a mix of characters that look like they were lifted out of some TV series, with English, French and Portuguese captains being shown among them, along with a beautiful female pirate that doesn’t seem to have any affiliation.
The game’s showing us in the background a map of the region, from above, with Skull island on one side and with the civilized cities on the other.
The characters that I mentioned previously are not alone in appearing on the reels of this game. The other symbols will show copper, silver and gold coins, along with black flags, ships and treasure chests.
Check out the graphics, and I’m convinced that you will find something to like about this game, as in this particular area there are few pirate themed games that can compare with Wild Seas.
Elk Studios doesn’t have a lot of games released, or even a lot of time since they’ve been working on such titles, but they managed to create some great mobile slots so far.
Whether you’re looking at a slot like Sam on the Beach, or at a game like Hidden, you usually end up enjoying the graphics and the features that are included in their slots.
How To Play It
Wild Seas allows players to choose a standard wager, of $0.20 to $100, which is available in all games that they launch. They don’t really take into account the number of lines which are used, so there is no line bet worth mentioning. They do mention that each bet has 100 coins though, which means that up to $1 denominations are allowed.
This mobile slot uses 5 reels, 4 rows of symbols and 178 connecting lines on them. It also has something else that you don’t find outside Elk Studios releases, and that’s a list of Betting Strategies, which you can use if you want.
Each strategy allows for a different type of wager to be placed by the game, while taking into account how profitable your games have been so far. It can reduce or increase the bet automatically, but it’s something that you only use if you want to, it’s optional.
When you notice the Wild Seas flag appear on a reel, you should know that you may use it as a replacement. It substitutes for symbols found on the same line as it is. Get two to appear, and you will receive access to Break the Convoy, the first level of the bonus game.
In Break the Convoy, you will see the Sailing Wilds start on reel 5, and they move to the left during each free spin. If you manage to sink at least one ship, you can reach the second level of the feature. Pirate Ships are going to fire at ships that are found on the same row.
Level two is called Loot the Treasures and it uses Chest Wilds, which the Pirate Ship will fire towards.
You can get paid up to 1,000 coins from a single combo, or up to 178,000 coins if you get the same symbol to appear on all positions. The cash value would be $1,000 for the former and $178,000 for the latter.
Wild Seas manages to deliver superb graphics and a bonus feature that follows the theme of the slot closely, making a game out of it. It’s a recommended game from ELK Studios, same as with most of their titles.
