Theme of The Game
Planet Fortune is offered by Play n Go, as a mobile slot machine with a retro science fiction theme. To give you a quick intro of what you can expect, suffice it to say that it’s one of my favorite slot machines to be released recently, design wise at least.
The action will take place on an alien planet, as evidenced by the image you see behind the reels, with buildings on its surface and with other planets visible in the sky. The style of the actual design is the one that makes the game exciting though, since Play n Go chose a 50s style retro look which they executed perfectly.
Relevant symbols which have found their way to the reels include the two types of Robots (good and evil versions), the Future Man and the Future Woman, along with several alien crystals. It’s a bit unfortunate then, that they also used playing cards for the rest of their symbols, even though they did put UFO’s and planets in their orbit.
Play n Go, Planet Fortune’s creator, is one of the companies that I look forward to when it comes to new mobile slot machines being launched.
They consistently do a very good job in this area, delivering great looking mobile slot machines, just like Planet Fortune is. They also often put out unique titles, a good example of which would be a recent slot of theirs, called Reactoonz.
How To Play It
In this game, you are using a betting range of $0.20 to $100. These options will be used to cover all 40 active lines that the slot is offering.
5×4 reels get 40 active lines in this case. The betting is done via a system that seems unique to Play n Go, with all available options listed at the bottom in a special section. You click on a button which has the value that you need, or you use the arrows to the sides to navigate to a value that’s lower or higher than the ones that are visible.

A special feature which you will notice pop up at times, Magnetic Mayhem triggers and gives you 2-3 adjacent reels which stick together. At that point, they start showing you only mega symbols, 2×2 or 3×3 sized.
Another point about the game’s symbols is that the ones showing you items or characters are going to come in stacked. The size of the stacks can vary, using 2, 3 or 4 symbols for each one.
The Robots are the stars of this game. Used as the wild symbols, they have two variants, where they have green or red eyes, appearing good or evil, respectively. Wilds are not limited in the symbols that they can replace, since they’re the only ones bringing features to the reels. Up to five Robots, when grouped together on a line, can form combinations that pay up to $6,250.
Finally, the slot has a Robot Revolution feature, where the Robot wilds trigger it by appearing in at least three spots during the same spin. They act as scatters in this case, and they bring you 10 free spins. The wild symbols are going to move towards the left side, one position at a time, during the free spins.
With a jackpot of $6,250 and with a maximum possible win of $250,000 in a single round, Planet Fortune gives the player some decent top rewards, but the features are the ones that will help make it truly great.
Planet Fortune’s graphics are the biggest selling point for me, but the features are close behind, and they’re quite enjoyable.
