Theme of The Game
Lock It Link: Night Life has a night life and luxury theme that’s not uncommon, but usually games don’t mix these two together. Coming from WMS, the game manages to put forward a better design than I’m used to when it comes to this developer. This is a mobile slot that places the action near a large city, with skyscrapers being shown at night in the background.
The reels which are closer to the player will have only some boring poker cards at first, but then they also include higher paying symbols with images of rubies, sports cars, champagne, leather travel bags, gold coins and even the billionaire that is the main character in this story.
Despite the obvious overall high quality of this game, the details don’t quite add up, and I’m not considering it as good as the high end titles that can be found in the luxury theme category.
As for the developer that created this mobile slot, it’s called WMS, or Williams Interactive as it is also known. It’s a company with a very long history behind it, which dates from before the start of the online casino industry.
Their online arm keeps launching new games, but they’re often not as good as those designed by companies which specialize only in this sort of content. The features are not the problem here, only the graphics.
How To Play It
The game mentions that you are going to use 50 fixed lines, so what remains is for you to set the bet per line. There is a range of $0.01 to $0.90 to use there, which will allow for your bets to vary between $0.50 and $45.
With 5×3 reels and 50 active lines, the game gives the player a lot of chances to form winning combinations during each spin that he goes through. It’s a pretty regular game overall, so there are no special instructions that you need in order to get started.
Looking at the features that you can use in this mobile slot, I would mention first the Gold Coin, which is the wild symbol. Wild symbols are of the sort that will also double wins that they participate in, plus they can also form combinations, albeit ones that are of fairly low value, since they go up to $135 only. You can’t use a wild as a replacement for another feature symbol.
Bonus symbols are reserved for the columns from the middle, so the 2nd to the 4th ones. You need all three in position, so that you can get a prize of 5x the wager, along with a choice between two features. One of them is the Lock It Feature, the other is with Free Spins. You can get 6 free spins if that option is selected. Multipliers of up to 8x are used on the wins, depending on how many wild symbols are present on the reels (up to 5 possible).
For the regular winning combinations, the payouts are on the low side, even if you take into account the multipliers available during free spins.
The fixed jackpots that are mentioned at the top are much more interesting though, and they can get to values of up to $225,000. The game gets a decent RTP, of 96.02%, so it’s got the right profitability in the long run.
Lock It Link: Night Life is giving the player a decent selection of features and an impressive top fixed jackpot. It could use more work when it comes to graphics though, but that’s true of most WMS titles.
