If you’ve played one Irish themed title, you’ll know what to expect from this Red Tiger release. Come to a land full of leprechauns and golden coins, with vast fields of green where four leaf clovers grow, and hide valuable pots full of gold. And while you could say this Red Tiger game isn’t the most visually astounding title, we were rather pleased with the gameplay it offered.
The games gives players access to several special features. Rainbow Swaps, which changes a random number of icons, Beer Reels, which create new symbols under the right conditions, Magic Pipe, which can turn more valuable symbols into mega tiles, Hat Trick, which removes lower paying symbols for a single re-spin, and finally, a free spins bonus.
Symbols include playing card icons, a green bowtie, a silver-gold horseshoe, a leather boot full of gold and a large golden coin. Special symbols include four different Wilds, which all trigger a different bonus, and a four leaf clover that’s the Scatter, and activates free spins.
Developer
Red Tiger Gaming, founded in 2014 from a team of veterans in the slots industry, with a talent for creating top-notch games. The team is made out of individuals from both Europe and Asia, and you can see that in the titles they release, which masterfully do themes from both continents, and bring them to life with superb graphics and fun gameplay.
The studio will turn five years old soon, and in that time, they’ve managed to release solid titles like Dragon’s Luck Power Reels and Rainbow Jackpots, games that are still being played, and reach into the top 50 games played. Also in 2018, Red Tiger’s titles have become part of many casinos, and the developer earned their licences from Malta and Alderney.
How to Play it
The title is played on a massive 7×7 playing field with cluster pays instead of using regular paylines. This means players cannot turn some or all of the paylines on or off at will to decrease the minimum bet past its existing limits. Red Tiger’s user interface continues to use a familiar mobile interface – with large, easy to tap buttons allowing you to spin, use turbo spins and adjust the wagers, and having any additional information being just one or two taps away.
You can bet between $0.10 up to $200 per spin, which is an awesome spread of bets that will allow both more casual gamblers and serious high rollers to find a wager that they’ll be comfortable playing at. Players will also have access to an Autoplay function, that gives players the ability to set a loss limit, to stop on a jackpot win or a bonus feature, or to stop if a single win exceeds a certain number.
The background image is that of fertile hills, entirely covered with four leaf clovers, green covering the ground as far as the eye can see. You see the occasional line of trees reaching through the clovers, as well as a small road that no doubt leads to the leprechaun village. The background image itself isn’t animated, but we do have some cool transitions when special features are activated.

Special Features
There are five different bonuses available to players.
Rainbow Swaps happen when a rainbow Wild is part of a winning combination. The rainbow soars across the reels, which randomly changes a certain number of symbols to create a new and more profitable win.
Beer Reels occurs when a beer Wild is part of a win. This turns on the beer taps above the reels, which pour new symbols into play, potentially creating a new winning cluster on top of the old ne.
Magic Pipe activates when the pipe Wild is part of the winning combination. The leprechaun off to the side will blow into his pipe, turning the more valuable symbols into colossal tiles, with a new pay being awarded then.
Hat Trick is triggered when the top hat appears. It’s sucked up into the golden cauldron, and after no more wins can be paid out, the leprechaun will suck up all lower paying symbols, allowing new, higher value ones to fall in their place.
Finally, free spins can be activated by landing four free spin Scatters over the course of one series of symbol drops. All Wilds collected during the bonus are activated one by one for bigger wins.
Maximum Payouts
The largest win you can get is worth 2000x the stake – and with cascading reels and so many special features available, it’s no surprise the number gets as big as it does. That said, the title is medium to high variance, so don’t expect to hit those big jackpots anytime soon. The RTP for this Red Tiger release is 96.06%, which is above average for video slots.
Summary
