Theme of The Game
The actual full name for this game is Roasty McFry and the Flame Busters. The action of this mobile slot revolves around firefighters that are called to put out a fire at an apartment complex. It’s an 8 bit style design, which makes it look like a retro arcade game, something that you might’ve played decades ago.
Despite the retro design, this game has plenty to offer in most areas, especially feature and layout wise, where you get 243 ways to win.
The symbols that you’re seeing on the reels are not exactly standard when it comes to the kind of characters you’d expect to see in a building these days. Among the characters shown in the major symbols, they’ve chosen to include the firefighter with a cat in his hands, along with a pirate, a wizard, a goat man and a robot.
The less interesting symbols are the ones looking like coins, with the Royal letters and numbers inscribed on them. It can’t look like a modern title, since it has that retro influence, but you can still see that a fair amount of effort has gone into making it look this way.
Flame Busters has been created by Thunderkick, which is a relatively young company, established a few years back and which has released some impressive mobile slot machines already.
If you want to play games on a smartphone, there are a lot of good titles out right now, and some of the best mobile slots are actually from this developer. There are plenty that I could recommend, but the ones that I found to look best were Babushka, Barber Shop and Luchadora.
How To Play It
Pretty much all mobile slots that are designed by Thunderkick will feature the same betting system. Though you are offered 243 ways to win, the wagers will have values of $0.10 to $100, without any indication of the amount that each line is getting.
It’s a design that was made so that mobile slot players find it easy to navigate. You get a couple of buttons on the right and the left sides at the bottom, one of which will open up more options for you, including the paytable info.

Features in Flame Busters start with one that is coming from the Fire Symbol. This is a mystery symbol, which gets replaced with another symbol, picked at random out of the regulars. All fire symbols are turned into the same icon.
Wilds are among the symbols that are offered as well, and you may use these W Logos in various winning combinations, together with regulars. They make the game much more profitable, but in the long run.
Alarm Bells are on the reels as well, as the scatters that you need to have present at least three times. If you meet the requirements, you can get 10, 15 or 20 spins for free. You have a small bonus game beforehand though, where you advance in the building and you collect additional free spins. The more you advance, the more coins are turned into fire symbols.
Regular symbols are the only ones that will pay you in this game, and the most they can offer is $1,000, for a combination of five Firefighters on the five reels.
Flame Busters is an interesting game, with plenty of unique features and with a design that few mobile slots will sport these days. Overall, I found it to be an enjoyable experience.
