Theme of The Game
Fairy Gate is a fairy themed mobile slot machine, that much you can tell right away, even without the title to mention it to you. The quality is above what is offered in most slots, even the recent ones, and that’s one of the big advantages that the game has over others. The action will take place in an enchanted forest, a natural place for a game about fairies. You have a tree to the right side of the reels, acting as a sixth reel when it opens up to reveal it.
The game features a lot of symbols that have fairies in them, cute little things that are coming in different colors apparently. There are pink, blue, red and green fairies in the game, along with a couple of logos and four poker cards.
Quickspin is a company that’s putting out some incredible mobile slot machines, and they’ve been doing it for a couple of years already. They are based in Sweden and they seem to be big believers in creating games with high end graphics, which are a lot of fun to play. It’s one of the few developers that seems to pay a lot of attention to the mobile slots that they release, and they make sure they’re as good as they can be.
How To Play It
The Total Bet option will let you select the wager that you want to use. You get a full range of options there, varying between $0.20 and $100, which means that the 20 fixed lines are getting between $0.01 and $5 each one. The number of lines is going to be fixed though.
For the most part, Fairy Gate plays like a regular slot machine, but it does have that 6th and 7th bonus reels to complicate things a bit. I consider that a good thing though, since it gives you a feature that other slot machines aren’t using and it makes it more unique.
One of the things that I’m sure you will be interested in here is the use of the two extra reels. These can be activated at random during Fairy Wild Respins, which are offered in the base game. The extra reels don’t get regular symbols, relying instead on Fairy Orbs. Getting these will mean that you can get respins and random wilds that round. You can get 2 to 5 random wilds for each Fairy Orb that you land.
The Bonus Scatters are used by the game to get you 10 free spins, provided that you have three appearing on the reels in the same round. You get the extra two reels here as well, and so you get a chance to land Fairy Orb symbols each time the reels spin. These will grant you the random wilds, but the respins are not offered at this point. You can’t retrigger the free spins unfortunately. The reels on which you can get the Bonus Scatters are the ones from columns 2, 3 and 4.
The more rewarding symbol of the game, and the one to act as a substitute, is the wild. This one forms combinations on its own, or it can be used as a replacement for a regular symbol. Either way, it’s a good feature to have, even though it’s a bit boring in its current form.
For the payouts of Fairy Gate, look at the wild symbol, since that’s the one offering the most. A combo of five icons of this type gets you paid up to $2,000, which is a decent reward. The Fairy Orbs can place quite a few wilds on the reels, so the odds of getting that jackpot don’t seem as small as in other mobile slots.
I think that Fairy Gate will be a highly enjoyable mobile slot machine for most players. The features and the graphics are both very good, and overall it’s a game that I’d return to.
