What We Love
To be honest, we were not very familiar with the Tokidoki brand when we started testing this slot, but once we entered the Tokidoki Lucky Town, we immediately realised why the brand is so popular.
Colourful characters, wacky soundtrack, sharp graphics and cool animations all make the IGT product quite lovable and enjoyable. It seems as if you are watching a Japanese cartoon while you spin the reels.
We also liked the fact gamers can earn some decent cash during base game, due to the fact that Wild symbols appear very often, and there is also a Wild Multiplier that doubles all your winnings when part of a winning combination. The Wild multiplier only appears on reel 3.
Next in line is the very interesting Reel Reveal feature, triggered by LP record Scatter that only appears on reel 5. Once you land it the record, you will be awarded with a free re-spin. You can get up to 5 re-spins, only if you land the Scatter five consecutive times.

Revealed Reel 1 brings Caramella Wild, which can get you up to 3 additional Wilds on the reels. On Revealed Reel 2 awaits Truffle Scatter, awarding you with a random multiplier that can go up to 15 the triggering bet. Revealed Reel 3 is reserved for Pogo, and if the unicorn appears on the reel, it will turn 2 adjacent symbols on her left into Wilds.

What We Do Not Like
Taking under consideration that the minimum bet is $60, the slot is not affordable for everybody. Also, if you can afford it, you can easily lose all your money very quickly if you do not manage to land winning combinations for a longer period of time.
Triggering of the Reel Reveal feature is hard enough, with that LP record constantly crossing reel 5, refusing to stop, but getting it to land on the reels 5 times in a row in order to reveal all the reels seems as a mission impossible.
And even if you get all of your 5 revealed reels, it does not guarantee you will actually trigger every of the five possible features, which can be quite frustrating.
Worth Playing?
First of all, we have to give a round of applause to the good people of IGT for doing an outstanding job with the graphics, animations and the soundtrack. However, we did not like the fact that the minimum bet you can place is $60. Clearly the slot is intended for high rollers only.
And the big question is whether Tokidoki Lucky Town slot is worth that much money, because, even though it offers some cool additional bonuses in Reel Reveal, they are not that easy to trigger, so you can suck your balance dry even before you get the chance to test everything the Bonus round has to offer.
