It’s a scientific horror dream coming to life with a Frankenstein-like creature and a nutty professor inside a futuristic science lab.
It is not nearly as scary though, knowing that they both are presented in a cartoon-like manner, which makes the Manic Millions slot game one fairly entertaining and funny feature.
NextGen Gaming is presenting their latest slot title, a five-reel and 25-payline game with random Wild, random Scatters, thus a randomly activated Bonus Feature as well, which will keep you occupied in this low to mid variance game.
What We Love
Being the Sci-Fi freaks as we are, we love everything that has anything to do with supernatural forces or inhumanly creations, such as beloved Frankenstein.
NextGen is appealing to a widely popular subject through a modern touch and an animated, cartoon-like angle, which allowed them to present it with a touch of innocence and goofiness that is bound to attract even those gamers who are not that big fans of the subject.
Manic Millions is a low to mid variance game which means you will be exposed to frequent wins, often not that significant but well enough to keep your bank roll going.
NextGen made sure to put a nice little twist to a fairly straightforward base game scenario by allowing Igor and the professor to throw random Wilds and Scatters onto the reels in order to help you boost your winning potential.
Having in mind that you will be treated with random Scatters, it is good to know that the Free Spins feature will also be triggered randomly, even when you don’t get lucky enough to notch at least three game’s logo signs of your reels.
To make it even better, the Free Spins feature can be re-triggered, meaning you can hope to land as many as 20 free spins on the trot.
NextGen’s games are great for their Gamble feature which is incorporated in this game as well. Gamble feature gives you great chance to double or quadruple your wins if you guess the suit or colour of a hidden card, which is always a risk of its own, but an enticing one as well.
What We Do Not Like
There are so many great things about the Manic Millions slot game, starting from the cutting-edge graphics and engaging visuals, all the way to fairly enticing features.
However, there is one thing we found to be a shortcoming in this game and that is a worrying lack of special features. Random Wilds, Random Scatters and (randomly activated) Free Spins are great, but not remotely enough.
Being such a wide-range subject, Manic Millions offered plenty of possibilities and we are a bit disappointed that NextGen has not gone out to realise the full potential of their game.
Manic Millions would use a multiplier here and there or a visually more engaging feature that would perhaps be a completely different screen with Igor and other creatures coming to life for much more fun.
NextGen’s Manic Millions is an exciting game, but a slot whose enticing graphical solutions have outdone its features and winning potential. It will allow you frequent wins, but many of those will be insufficient to make your head spin with excitement. Either way, Manic Millions is worth a shot, if nothing else than at least for the kick of it.
